Andrew Jackson is a highly experienced DevOps Software Engineer with over 15 years of leadership experience in small teams, with a focus on DevOps and Automation. He is currently working as a DevOps Software Engineer III at c.h. robinson, where he is responsible for managing and leading a team of engineers, as well as being the primary owner of the Cloud infrastructure. Andrew has worked with several companies in the past, including adx labs inc and trimble transportation, where he held the positions of Lead DevOps Engineer and Senior DevOps Engineer, respectively. He also designed, built, and delivered cloud computing solutions, hosted services, and underlying software infrastructure. Andrew assisted in coaching application developers on proper techniques for building scalable applications in the microservices paradigm and supported and troubleshooted scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup, and restores of different environments. Andrew is proficient in several technologies, including DevOps, Software Engineering, infra, AWS, Azure, CI/CD, Microservices, Integration, and Senior Software Engineering.
