Andrew Orobator is an experienced Android Engineer, public speaker, and writer with a passion for developing and teaching Android app development. He is currently working as an Android Engineer at Geneva Technologies, where he has laid the groundwork for a testable and maintainable codebase to minimize regressions and ensure a high-quality stable app. Andrew is well-versed in object-oriented design patterns, functional programming, and agile development practices. He is also very familiar with consuming web APIs, Kotlin, Coroutines, JSON, Dagger/Dependency Injection, Picasso, RxJava, and Espresso and Unit testing. Andrew taught himself Android development in 2013 when he started working on Auracle Music Player. Since then, he has developed several apps on the Play Store, given talks at Android conferences across the country, and taught Android development to Fortune 500 companies.
