Andrew Tran is a full-stack software engineer with a passion for fixing broken things in the financial technology industry. With over 7 years of relevant experience, he has a wide breadth of expertise in various tools such as Javascript (Angular, Ember, Vue, React), Kotlin, Java, Node.js, and Android. He currently works as a Staff Software Engineer at AuditBoard, where he continues to create seamless UX and beautiful, intuitive UIs. Andrew has previously worked as a Software Engineer at Square, where he was responsible for upgrading the web client's infrastructure for consuming server-driven flows. He also ran and measured several client experiments to optimize customer experience. At Kash, he worked as a Full-stack Software Engineer, where he created and designed graphical assets in Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) format and implemented UI/UX design using tools such as Sketch, AngularJS, and jQuery. Andrew holds a degree in Computer Science (Co-op) from the University of Waterloo, where he completed his studies in 2015. He also attended Heart Lake Secondary School. His tech stack includes skills in software engineering, web development, infrastructure, NodeJS, Android, and UI design.
