Andrew Walker is an experienced Software Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the field. Currently working as a Full Stack Developer at Flourish, he has previously worked as a Software Engineer at Impact Box and a Full Stack Developer at Piclo. Andrew is well-versed in building SaaS platforms and has been instrumental in setting up entire architectures with infrastructure as code, CI, automated pull request deploy previews, comprehensive testing, and a component design system. At Impact Box, Andrew was responsible for building Tent, a SaaS platform that enables charities to build online communities for their volunteers and partners. He also built the Tent marketing website and the Impact Box company website using Vue/Nuxt and backed by Contentful to allow non-technical team members to maintain content. At Piclo, Andrew oversaw the frontend architecture for the new energy flexibility marketplace at picloflex.com, using Nuxt, as well as the underlying design system using Storybook. He also set up unit, E2E, and visual regression testing suites and managed a subsequent migration to GitHub Actions. Andrew has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics from King's College London.
