Andrew Wang is a skilled full stack software engineer with a passion for building technology platforms that make complex systems and processes more accessible to people and businesses. Currently, he is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Stripe, where he is leading the development of Stripe Identity, a full stack toolset that enables businesses to verify the identities of their users worldwide, prevent fraud, and comply with regulatory requirements seamlessly. Andrew's primary focus is on cross-product interoperability, operator tools in Stripe Dashboard, and API design. He has extensive experience in ML infrastructure, big data batch processing and serving, and real-time analytics and data visualization. At Stripe, Andrew has held several positions, including Software Engineer and Software Engineering Intern. He has led the full stack development of Stripe Identity operator, workflow, and fraud team tools, ID number and address verifications, and Stripe Identity product onboarding. He has also maintained canonical product performance metrics for senior leadership reviews, designed and built entity linking between Stripe Identity and other Stripe APIs, and designed and built an API powering Identity’s native mobile clients. Andrew has also been an active mentor for new hire engineer onboarding programs and was a launch team member for Stripe Identity. He has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Washington and completed his high school education at Tesla STEM High School.
