Andrew Wilson is a seasoned Software Engineer with 7.61 years of relevant experience. Currently, he is working at DoorDash as a Software Engineer, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining scalable and reliable software systems. Prior to joining DoorDash, Andrew worked at Lime as a Software Engineer on the Data Engineering team. In this role, he worked on a full-stack role on Lime's data access platform, which was created with Node and Vue and hosted on AWS. Here, he designed and developed management software on the appliance and network levels related to configuration, monitoring, and licensing for enterprises and service providers. Andrew also led development on cloud software offering used by service providers to manage distributed customer networks, hosted in AWS on EC2 instances. He improved performance of appliance management and tunnel building service responsible for orchestrating and maintaining network state. Andrew debugged critical software and networking issues for major customer deployments hosted on private infrastructure as well as within AWS. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego - Jacobs School of Engineering. He also studied Bioinformatics at UCSD. Andrew's technical skills include AWS, Data Warehouse, Data Engineering, JavaScript, VueJS, and infra. He has experience in test, QA, and writing unit and API tests, internal and external documentation.
