Andrey Butenko is a dynamic and passionate software engineer, educator, and informatics student at the University of Washington. With a strong background in computer science, he currently volunteers as a Computer Science Teacher with the TEALS program, co-teaching introductory computer science using Snap! and Python in a virtual classroom of 25 students. Prior to his current role, Andrey worked as an Assistant Resident Director and Technical Student Assistant with the University of Washington, providing support to HFS administrators in maintaining and updating a collection of Wordpress sites. He has also gained valuable experience in software engineering and Python programming, which he leverages in his current role as a teacher. Andrey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatics from the University of Washington, which he is set to complete in 2021. He also holds a High School, International Baccalaureate degree from Inglemoor High School. With a strong tech stack that includes software engineering and Python, Andrey is well-equipped to tackle complex programming challenges and deliver high-quality results. He has gained relevant experience over the past 2.52 years, which he brings to the table in every project he undertakes. Andrey is a dedicated and hardworking individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the field of computer science education.
