Andrey Novichkov is a Full-Stack Software Engineer with over 3 years of experience in the computer science industry, specializing in Biotech. He is also currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, with a particular interest in AI, Machine Learning, and automation. Andrey is a problem solver who enjoys working in teams, learning, innovating, and creating. Currently, Andrey is working as a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Stride, where he is also a Teacher Assistant for multiple Data Science courses, primarily focused on ML/DL sections. He helps fellow students understand and implement everything from Linear Regression to CNN's, as well as assists students with non-data science related questions/problems, including frameworks like Flask, Django, Node, and React to DevOps tools and services like Docker and AWS. Before joining Stride, Andrey worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Portal Entryways, where he developed functionality and implemented design for managing teams and user accounts in the Portal Manager Android application. He also added Google Assistant compatibility to make the Portal android application more accessible, generated SQL queries in GCP Big Query, and designed and implemented an internal User/App metrics dashboard using Retool, helping Portal Entryways view valuable information in a comprehensive way. Andrey's experience also includes working as a Data Science TA at Make School, where he assisted fellow students with understanding and implementing everything from Linear Regression to CNN's. He also helped students with non-data science related questions/problems, including frameworks like Flask, Django, Node, and React to DevOps tools and services like Docker and AWS. Andrey holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science from Make School, an Associates degree in Computer Science from Diablo Valley College, and a Diploma in Computer Science from Las Lomas High School. He is proficient in various technologies, including AWS, ML, CNN, Deep Learning, AI, Docker, SQL, DevOps, Flask, Django, Java, Android, and GCP. In his free time, Andrey enjoys exploring the world with his camera in hand, playing soccer, or going on a sunrise hike in Marin.
