Andrey Pokrovskiy is an experienced Software Engineer currently working at Pragma. With over 11 years of relevant experience, Andrey has a strong background in both frontend and backend development. He started his career as a PHP/MySQL developer but later transitioned to using NodeJs and Firebase on the backend and ES6, ReactJs on the frontend. Andrey has worked on building complex interactive UIs and visually rich websites and apps with heavy functionality. His frontend skills include ES6, ReactJs, AngularJs, GreenSock Js, jQuery, Less/Sass, HTML, and CSS. On the backend, he has experience working with Firebase, NodeJs, MongoDB, PHP, and MySql. Andrey is also proficient in using build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, and Grunt, and has experience with testing tools like TestCafe, Jest, and Enzyme. In terms of DevOps, Andrey has experience working with Python, AWS, and Jenkins. He has worked on automating building and deployment to AWS S3 using Python scripts and Jenkins as a job runner. In his previous roles, Andrey has worked as a Frontend Engineer at Tradewind Markets, Inc. and as a Senior Developer at Gigareef. At Tradewind Markets, Inc., he refactored a prototype quality ReactJs SaaS application to production level and designed, prototyped, and developed the UI for the key company solution of 2019.
