Andrey Shtylenko is an accomplished technology executive with over 10 years of engineering management experience in building innovative commercial products enabled by AI and advanced perception across various verticals, including smart cameras, industrial scanners and sensors, and warehouse robotics. With more than 15 years of hands-on technical experience building large-scale commercial solutions, including 7+ years in ML/DL, Andrey is a seasoned professional in the field of AI and computer vision. Currently serving as the AI/ML Lead at Honeywell International, Inc., Andrey is the focal point for data science and machine learning activities for the Advanced Sensors line of business for Honeywell's Safety & Productivity Solutions business group. In his previous role, he led AI practice adoption within Honeywell SPS and was responsible for increasing engineering capacity, improving AI/ML engineering process/infrastructure/tools, building partnerships with vendors and research institutions. Andrey's formal background is in Engineering Management, and he has been an avid software engineering practitioner from an early age. He has also been involved in building and running technology startups, and he has a formal education in engineering management. When he is not working, he spends most of his time with his family and his three-year-old son. Andrey has worked for Honeywell for several years and has held various positions, including Sr Engineering Manager/Head of Perception, Robotics Lab, and Principal Software Engineer/Global AI Solution Architect. In these roles, he has led the implementation of AI into a variety of portfolios across Honeywell Safety & Productivity to make their solutions more intelligent and efficient, helping millions of people around the globe perform their daily jobs safely, compliantly, and productively. Andrey has an impressive educational background, including degrees in Product Management in the Era of AI from Stanford Continuing Studies, Leadership Principles for Engineers, Scientists, and Researchers from MIT xPRO, Artificial Intelligence Strategy from the University of California, and Engineering Management from Stratoplan Management School. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from Bryansk State Technical University (BSTU) with a concentration in Information Systems.
