André Duarte is an experienced Data Engineer and Scientist who has successfully transitioned into a Data Science Manager role. Before Rede Globo, André worked as a Data Engineer at Cogna Educação, where he implemented the transition from on-premises to a cloud-based (AWS) data architecture for the entire ETL and data analysis workflows. He also enabled and automated infrastructure deploy for various environments infrastructure as code and integrated DevOps into the development pipeline with continuous integration and delivery. André's educational background includes a Master of Science (MS) in Data Science and Analytics from the University of San Francisco, a Master of Science (MS) in Bioinformatics from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, and an Exchange Program in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
