Andy Greatorex is a highly experienced Data Scientist with a specialization in FinCrime. He is currently employed at Revolut in the role of Data Scientist, where he is responsible for developing models and systems to detect money launderers, terrorist financiers, and other malicious actors. Prior to this, Andy worked at Barclays, where he held the position of Lead Data Scientist. Here, he was involved in a range of activities, including research, experimental PoCs, and full end-to-end production pipelines. He was also responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data pipelines for transaction networks and developing models to identify malicious actors using graph-level embeddings and clustering techniques. Andy has a strong academic background, having completed a Master's Degree in Computer Science from UCL in 2016 and another Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington in 2015. He also attended Wellington School in Somerset from 2004 to 2012. In addition to his academic qualifications, Andy has a range of technical skills and experience. He is proficient in Research Science, Data Science, and infrastructure, and has over 7 years of relevant experience.
