Andy Tsou is a highly skilled software engineer with a passion for using technology to solve complex problems and make people's lives easier. With over 4.77 years of relevant experience, he has a proven track record of developing innovative solutions using React/Redux, Node(Express), and Python. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Codesmith, Andy has played a key role in developing the company's public site using React, Redux, and PostgreSQL. He has also mentored junior developers, conducted public workshops on JavaScript fundamentals, and leveraged Docker to simplify and accelerate workflow. In addition, he has transitioned from Travis Ci to Github Actions to continue CI/CD workflow while reducing overhead costs. Prior to his current role, Andy worked as a Software Engineer at Reactime, where he utilized the React Fiber reconciliation algorithm to provide detailed insights into the client's React Application. He also leveraged TypeScript's strong static typing to reduce debugging time and improve scalability. His work on Reactime earned him a nomination for the Productivity Booster Award at React Open Source Awards. Andy's past experience also includes working on the discovercasually Music Discovery project, where he implemented OAuth 2 and utilized PostgreSQL's ACID compliance for database management.
