Angad Sandhu is a highly motivated and driven individual who is passionate about code and AI. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science at Manipal Institute of Technology and has completed 35 courses on Coursera, learning seven programming languages in the process. Angad has dived deep into the topics of Data Science, Web Development, and App Development, tackling problems such as computer vision, web parsing, REST APIs, and SLAM in just 11 months. He is always looking for ways to improve his skills and is committed to maintaining a highly efficient workflow for future endeavors and projects. In addition to his academic pursuits, Angad has gained valuable experience through internships and research assistantships. He has worked with the Maryland Information and Network Dynamics (MIND) Lab at the University of Maryland as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, where he developed a multi-component model that uses multiple Natural Language Processing (NLP) methods to process large complex corpora and create much more interpretable information. He also worked as a Full Stack Web Development Intern at Beumer Group, where he was tasked with creating a visitor management system that helps to keep track of and streamline the visitations of employees and outsiders to the company premises. Currently, Angad is working as a Delegate at the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR), an organization that has organized 50 conferences in 20 different host countries around the world, touching the lives of more than 40,000 students and young professionals. As a registered non-profit organization, HPAIR donates a portion of its income to different aid groups every year, focusing on issues that matter pertaining to education, development, access to opportunity, global health, and environmental sustainability. Angad's tech stack includes AI, Data Science, Web Development, NLP, Computer Vision, and Research Science. With nearly two years of relevant experience, Angad is well-positioned to make a significant impact in the field of data science and AI.
