Angappan Ganesan is a skilled Test Automation Engineer with a passion for learning and exploring new technologies. He is currently working as a Senior Quality Engineer IN4 at Walmart, where he is part of the Center of Engineering Excellence team. Angappan's primary focus is to develop tools that help improve developer productivity. He has created a Quality gateway by building Test Automation framework from scratch and plugging them into the deployment pipeline. He works closely with the Engineering teams to understand their pain points and assists them from a Quality standpoint. Angappan is also actively involved in brainstorming ideas with the team for process improvement. As a senior member of the team, he represents team leadership and provides technical guidance and training to juniors. Angappan has a diverse background, having worked with multiple companies in the past. He has previously worked with Walmart as a Quality Engineer IN3, where he was part of the same team. He has also worked with Freshworks as a Senior Software Engineer in Test. During his tenure at Freshworks, he automated End to End Flows using Selenium + PyTest Framework and contributed to the Framework development by brainstorming the automation pain points faced by the team. He actively participated and shared inputs in the Design meetings. Angappan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from SRR Jeppiar Engineering College. He has also acquired several certifications, including Microsoft Azure Cloud Fundamentals and Microsoft Azure Certified Data Scientist. He has implemented the Azure ML platform learnings by building an intelligent tool for ticket classification and working on extending the solution to perform root cause analysis. Angappan is proficient in several technologies, including QA, Azure, Test, SDET, Python, Java, Research Scientist, Selenium, ML, Data Scientist, Software Engineer, and Docker. He has relevant experience of 6.44 years and is a quick learner with strong problem-solving skills.
