Angel Viera is a highly experienced Full Stack Hardware Engineer with a diverse skill set that spans hardware design, quality assurance, and manufacturing. With over 10 years of relevant experience, Angel has worn every hat in the hardware industry and has become intimately familiar with multiple low-level, high-speed communication protocols. He has also worked extensively with biometrics, cryptography, RF antenna design, and ultra-low power design. Currently, Angel serves as the Lead Hardware Engineer at hypr corp., where he oversees the hardware design, QA, and manufacturing processes. He has also worked on internal projects using node.js, electron, and python. Prior to his current role, Angel co-founded Kytelabs and served as the Co-Founder and Hardware Engineer. During his time at Kytelabs, he went through the entire company journey, from customer development to physical prototyping and iteration, manufacturing logistics, and fulfillment. He also ran and shipped a hardware Kickstarter and handled DFMBuilding testing jigs and FCC certification testing. Angel has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and also completed an Entrepreneurship program at Startup Weekend: NEXT. He is proficient in QA, Javascript, NodeJS, Python, and test. Angel's experience has taught him how to ignore the noise and build a company fast. He has made many mistakes along the way but has learned from them and become a better engineer because of them.
