Angela Li is a results-driven software engineer and video game developer with a strong background in Javascript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, and Git. She is a UCLA alumnus and has a working knowledge of SQL, MongoDB, and project management. With over 5.69 years of relevant experience, Angela has developed multiple published indie games, one of which ranked in Ludum Dare's Top 200 Games out of 3000+ submissions. Currently, Angela is a Software Engineer at Airtable, where she is responsible for developing and maintaining software applications. Prior to joining Airtable, Angela worked as a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Tutorfly Inc. where she spearheaded the Platform-as-a-Service development to bring Tutorfly's peer tutoring software to major school districts across the U.S. She also developed full-stack features such as drop-in tutoring sessions and user invitation tools using JavaScript, React, GraphQL, and Node.js. Angela's expertise in software engineering is further strengthened by her experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Tutorfly Inc. where she developed a tutor search feature on the Tutorfly application, using React, GraphQL, and Node.js. She also redesigned the MongoDB database schema, migrated collections using TypeScript programs, and integrated the database with full-stack search functionality. Angela is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese and is highly proficient in her technical skills.
