She is currently working as an Engineering Manager for the Indexing Core Entities (ICE) team at Pinterest, where she is responsible for streaming and batch frameworks to support user and content understanding and indexing. Her team aims to provide infra support for fast content distribution and responsive recommendations. Angela has a strong technical background and has worked on architecting real-time, near real-time, and batch indexing applications and frameworks to power Pinterest's recommendation surfaces. In her previous roles as Tech Lead for Core Product Indexing and HomeFeed Infrastructure at Pinterest, she led the development of user signal development platforms that provide signals for query understanding, ranking, and retrieval across multiple Pinterest surfaces.
