Anh Ngo is a passionate Computer Science student with a strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, Functional Programming, and Unit Testing. He is proficient in several programming languages, including Python, Java, C++, and SQL, and has a keen interest in AI/ML. Anh is also comfortable using several statistical testing methods, including Hypothesis Testing, A/B Testing (Parametric and Non-parametric Tests), and Granger Causality Testing. Currently, Anh is working as a Data Tracking and Analysis Coordinator at the Office of Sustainability in Berea College. In this role, he manages technical projects and sustainability-promoted programs, including building a sustainability mapping system using Google My Maps in collaboration with Berea College’s GIS team. Anh also collects data from 13+ different departments, analyzes, and visualizes them using Pandas, Matplotlib, and Power BI. Anh has previously worked as a Research Assistant and Development Team Lead at Berea College, where he won the “People’s Choice Impact Award” by STARS Computing Corp at the Tapia Conference 2022 for his findings of new agent models - mesophilic agents. He has also led a team of 3 to work on student-oriented Cervical Cancer research utilizing several supervised learning approaches. Anh has built and maintained a cervical tracking web app using Python, Streamlit Cloud, and supervised learning techniques, with 200+ users over the first week. He has also implemented Feature Selection successfully to reduce from 32 features to 8 features and deployed SVM, yielding an accuracy of 98.18%, achieving higher cancer detection reliability compared to previous findings. Anh is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Computer Science and Economics at Berea College, which he expects to complete in 2024. He has also completed a Technical Interview Prep Course in Computer Science from codepath in 2022. Anh's tech stack includes Pandas, SQL, Keras, AI, Scikit, ML, Research Scientist, Tensorflow, Python, Java, Jupyter, and Seaborn. He has 0.26 years of relevant experience and is an incoming SDE Intern at Amazon Web Services.
