Aniket Awati is a highly experienced Director of Engineering, with 12.79 years of relevant experience in the technology industry. He has a proven track record as an entrepreneur, having founded three successful startups in the past. Aniket is best known for co-inventing InstantApps/AppStreaming, which were later launched by Google. He is also credited with inventing Android AppStreaming, which has revolutionized the mobile app industry. In his early career, Aniket built a fast Sudoku solver and generator in college, winning several programming competitions. He joined an early-stage startup instead of large companies and launched the same Sudoku as a mobile game on Nokia store. The game became the best game in the puzzles category in the store, with over 200k downloads in just two months. Aniket also built an India-specific AppStore, AppBazar, and a P2P photo share product. He hired the initial technical team at the startup, which grew to a 200+ team. As an entrepreneur, Aniket founded his first startup, AppSurfer.com, at the age of 23 with three co-founders. He led the startup to raise investment from One97 mobility fund on a tv show. The team was acqui-hired in 2016. Aniket has also worked as an Engineering Leader at Media.net, responsible for building advertising and consumer-facing products. Currently, he is leading CDP engineering at Zeotap, managing engineering teams and deliveries, as well as working with GTM teams for solutions and technical expertise.
