Anil Gopinath is a seasoned engineering leader with over 21 years of relevant experience in the technology industry. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Drip Capital, he is responsible for driving the company's technology strategy and overseeing the development of its products and services. Anil's expertise spans across various domains, including Edge Machine Learning, Internet of Things Infrastructure, Online Advertising, Large scale low latency distributed systems, Android/iOS App development, Network Identity/AAA, and Preventive Healthcare. He has a proven track record of bootstrapping award-winning products and multiple successful tech companies from scratch to scale. Before joining Drip Capital, Anil worked as a Software Development Manager at Amazon, where he was responsible for building the IoT cloud infrastructure that could handle connections from billions of devices worldwide. He also served as the Founding Head of Engineering at Foghorn, where he created and managed the Engineering Dev, Quality Engineering, DevOps, and Customer Engineering teams from scratch. He hired about 20 engineers, eng. leads/managers, and architects into the team, who were formerly employed by Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Yahoo, etc. He coordinated the delivery of several engineering releases and customer-driven projects and created the requirements specification and led the team that created the Lightning Mobile App for Android. He also provided technical guidance to teams and helped resolve customer issues as required. Anil holds an MS degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Kansas. His technical skills include P2P, infra, Android, ML, iOS, Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, DevOps, and Mobile.
