Anil Kumar is an accomplished Chief Product Officer with over 18 years of experience in product design and development, specializing in cloud security best practices and data visualizations. He has an in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for cloud-based applications and their adoption. Anil has strong hands-on experience in various security standards like NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, etc., and their mapping to cloud best practices. Currently, Anil is working at C3M, where he is responsible for product strategy, design, and development. In his role, he is involved in building and implementing cloud security best practices in the product. Anil has also worked on threat modeling for applications, analyzing threats at both control and data planes, and identifying and incorporating remediations for the product. He has also designed and developed new features for the product and worked on adopting cloud-based FCAPS solutions to Cisco products. Anil has previously worked at Cisco as a Software Engineer, where he worked as a Security Prime for one of the Edge components in Cisco Spark Call. He was responsible for reviewing security best practices for cloud-based applications and adopting the same in the product. Anil has also worked on building threat models for applications, analyzing threats at both control and data planes, and identifying and incorporating remediations for the product. He has also designed and developed new features for the product and worked on adopting cloud-based FCAPS solutions to Cisco products. Before Cisco, Anil worked at eSecure Solutions as the Director of Product Development. In this role, he headed product development on multi-cloud management and security governance solutions. He also led a team on infrastructure security that provided managed security services on data protection, endpoint security, network security, identity and access management, and vulnerability scanning. Anil holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from Siddaganga Institute of Technologies. His tech stack includes product management, product design, Spark, infra, and software engineering. With a relevant experience of 20.28 years, Anil is a seasoned professional who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to any organization he works with.
