Anil Pradhan is a highly experienced financial services product development professional with over 18 years of experience in the industry. He has a solid technology background, well-developed business acumen, and proven leadership skills. Anil has proven expertise in FX/EMS product development and is well-versed in multithreading, messaging middleware, high frequency feed handlers, and vendor solutions. He is proficient in hands-on OO application programming languages such as core Java, collections, and multi-threading. Anil has exposure to trading analytics and high volume processing, and he has a solid system/enterprise design and development foundation. Anil has excellent project management life cycle skills and a track record of deploying solutions successfully. He is currently working as a Vice President at FactSet, where he is responsible for trading product development, capital markets, FX, FI, AWS cloud expert, EMS systems, and payments SaaS. Anil has previously worked at HighRadius as AVP Engineering and at FactSet as Vice President of Engineering. Anil has worked on several significant projects throughout his career, including building out and deploying an enterprise FX trading platform. He was one of the core team members who started building the FX trading product from scratch and played a vital role in building the backbone of PortwareFx product, which was designed independent of the GUI and can seamlessly work with any type of future interfaces. Anil has implemented several features for the FX product, including a sophisticated and highly customizable FX GUI, currency group management, facilitating trading off the currency tiles, smart order routing strategies like sweeper, WAP/VAP, TWAP, order and execution management from various FX liquidity providers, etc. Anil has also worked with several major investment banks like BAML, GS, CS, MS to build adapters whose purpose is to integrate with their pricing and order FIX APIs and thereby facilitating FX market data viewing and trading capabilities in FX product. He has led several key functional improvements to the FX product, including NDF (NonDeliverableForward), SRF (SpotRollForward), SWAPs, Auto & Manual RFQs, and SSP (SingleSpotPortfolio). Anil has also led several quality improvements in their FX product, such as providing tools to detect stale quotes in the system, automating the deployment process of new bank onboarding, improvising the speed of market data from server to client by coming up with separate socket lines for streaming and RFQ traffic.
