Anil Ramchandani is a seasoned entrepreneur and founder of Genie Bazaar, a procurement startup that has been ranked #3 in 2022. With over 11 years of relevant experience, Anil has worked with both small and large companies, gaining well-rounded experience across various industries and functions. He has worked in three countries, which has helped him understand and appreciate various cultures, business environments, developing economies, and people. Anil's specialties include financial modeling, valuation, financial statement analysis, risk modeling, forecasting financial statements, capital budgeting, analyzing risk & returns, project planning, project management, Monte Carlo simulation, optimization, process improvement, regression modeling, VBA (Macros), COGNOS, and SQL. Prior to founding Genie Bazaar, Anil worked for Amazon as the Head Financial Planning & Analysis for Amazon Business and Manager, Finance for AmazonFresh. As the full P&L owner for Amazon Business North America, Anil led long-term strategic plan development for the company. He also led monthly and weekly finance reviews for business partners, was a key finance partner for inventory management and vendor management teams, and initiated several ad-hoc analyses saving millions of dollars for the business. Anil holds a CFA degree from CFA, an MBA (Honors) in Finance and Strategy from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunication from the University of Mumbai. Anil's tech stack includes SQL, and he is passionate about simplifying procurement and sale of everyday services for enterprises and sellers through Genie Bazaar. The platform provides a single platform for managing all services and procurement needs across India, connecting procurement and facility management professionals with thousands of vendors and selecting vendors with the best prices.
