Animesh Roy is a healthcare industry expert with over 11 years of experience in data-driven business development strategy, pricing strategy, operational and performance improvement, manpower planning, and advanced analytics. He is currently the Chief of Healthcare Operations at Even, where he is part of the founding team trying to build India's first truly all-inclusive healthcare coverage product. Animesh has a post-graduate degree in management from the Indian School of Business, where he focused on finance and operations. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Jadavpur University. Animesh is passionate about emerging technologies and has expertise in AI, ML, and mobile applications. In his previous role as General Manager of Advanced Analytics and AI at Narayana Health, Animesh led the ground-up development of the department, from setting up the vision to hiring and mentoring team members. He also developed an analysis framework that is used by over 200 senior executives and managed the cultural change of the organization towards data-driven decision making. Animesh has also held the position of General Manager of Medical Services at Narayana Health, where he set up the Medical Services department and initiated a multi-year project on clinical outcomes that aimed to change the marketing approach of the industry. He also redesigned processes and improved the performance of different support departments, conceptualized and rolled out multiple mobile apps on patient safety and outcome, and spearheaded a project on restructuring and standardizing compensation for consultants. Animesh is a natural leader and enjoys aligning, leading, and growing high-performing teams. He is passionate about making high-quality decisions, staying calm when faced with adversity, and continuously refining his skills and education.
