Aniruddha Das is a Master of Science in Computer Science student at UC San Diego's Jacobs School of Engineering. He is an aspiring ML-Engineer with a passion for deriving insights from data, building software applications, and drawing inferences using statistical models and neural networks. Aniruddha is a firm believer in the principle that knowledge is futile unless put into action, which is why he spends most of his time learning and building things in parallel. Apart from his academic pursuits, Aniruddha enjoys reading, hiking, exploring new places, and experiencing new cultures. He values hard work over smart work, understands that motivation is temporary and discipline is the real long-term investment, and believes that good habits always compound over time to yield great results. Currently, Aniruddha is working as a Software Engineer Intern at Appfolio, Inc., a company that provides innovative software, services, and data analytics to the real estate industry. As part of the Maintenance common services team at Appfolio, he is focused on improving the work order lifecycle of the application, improving the user interface, making the maintenance section pipeline efficient, and integrating mobile inspections into maintenance. Aniruddha has previously worked as a Teaching Assistant for the course CSE 101: Algorithms at UC San Diego and as an SDE and Data Analyst Intern at Monk Entertainment, a digital marketing startup based in Mumbai, India. During his tenure at Monk Entertainment, he built an end-to-end data pipeline to collect and analyze financial transactions of the company, developed a platform to improve the rate of invoice generation, and derived insights from the analyzed data using Python. Aniruddha's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, University of Mumbai, and a Central Board of Secondary Education (Junior College) from Ryan International School, Kandivali. He also holds an ICSE board degree from Cambridge School, Kandivali. Aniruddha's technical skills include software engineering, ML, neural networks, mobile development, Python, Javascript, UI, Django, and ReactJS. With 0.36 years of relevant experience, Aniruddha is always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow in his field.
