Aniruddha has a patent for his work on computer vision, specifically for a system and method for determining stacked objects of distinct shapes and sizes using computer vision for monitoring shelf inventory. He has also developed a nano YOLO algorithm to detect objects based on convolution neural network, which has been customized to run in FPGA hardware. Additionally, he has developed a faster Regional Convolution Neural Net algorithm used to train a model to count objects in a retail shop, a Single shot detector algorithm used to detect cracks on an oil pipe, and has analyzed images from a microscope to generate automatic reports that help researchers work remotely and keep an eye on the specimen anytime.
