Anirudh Agarwal is a Lead Software Engineer at BlueJeans by Verizon, with over 7 years of relevant experience in the field. He has a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where he graduated in 2015. Anirudh's expertise lies in software engineering, microservices, web development, and Python. He has worked on various projects during his tenure at Verizon, where he started as a Software Engineer and worked his way up to Senior Software Engineer before becoming a Lead Software Engineer. Anirudh has been a part of the Frontend team at Verizon, where he revamped the complete web-app to a pureJS application from the older Django-Python based stack. He also implemented the micro-service framework, breaking down the giant monolithic web-app into easily maintained and separately deployable services. Anirudh has also worked on feature development, including handling graceful degradation of the web-app for Active-Standby model and customized email templates. Anirudh has also been a part of the Backend team, where he refactored the Python based API stack to JAVA microservices. He has also developed an HTML5 Video-On-Demand player from scratch as a part of the Playback team.
