Anirudh Ranganath is a seasoned software engineer with over 8 years of relevant experience in the industry. Currently, he is working at Amazon as a Software Engineer, where he is responsible for delivering new capabilities in technology for Alexa Skills Store - Conversational Discovery. Anirudh is passionate about solving problems and has a deep understanding of what it takes to plan, build, and deliver technology. Anirudh's experience in co-founding a startup and his multiple leadership roles during his academic life have given him the necessary leadership and people skills. It has also refined his decision-making and execution ability. Anirudh has worked on various projects at Amazon, including the Alexa Gadgets/Games Platform team, where he contributed to the development of Alexa's ecosystem. Before joining Amazon, Anirudh worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer, where he worked on Azure DataWarehouse, Parallel Datawarehouse (PDW), and Analytics Platform System (APS). He also worked on delivering Polybase in SQL Server 2016 and Azure Datawarehouse Performance. Anirudh has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Amrita School of Engineering.
