Anish P.K is a Senior Member of Technical Staff at VMware, with over 13 years of experience in IT. He is a certified product manager and a Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform 1.4. Anish has extensive experience in Agile Scrum Development Methodology and has worked in the IoT domain. He is proficient in vSphere product deployment and configuration and has strong problem-solving skills, which have been instrumental in providing key inputs to application development teams, architects, and business analysts. Anish has worked in the Retail Banking and VMware Virtualization domains and is currently working on VMware Cloud on Hyperscalers (Metal as a Service). He is a part of the IoT Device Edge team and has worked extensively on TPM-based secured device onboarding of IoT gateways and microservice validations for the integrity and security of gateways. Anish has also worked on Security Profile Management and Attestation. Anish has worked with the vCSA Development Team and has developed REST APIs for vCenter Server Appliance in Python. He has also developed the REST API testing framework in Java to test appliance management REST APIs as a part of dev owns quality initiative. Anish has been a feature owner and lead for appliance monitoring APIs and has led a team for feature stabilization and handling customer SRs. He has coordinated with the global support team to attend web-ex calls with customers for troubleshooting on customer environments. Anish has worked at VMware in the past as an MTS 3 and MTS 2. He has a Master of Technology in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a BE in Electronics and Communication from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Anish has also completed AISSCE from Kendriya Vidyalaya D.R.D.O. Anish's tech stack includes Java, Azure, Python, Spring, Microservices, Selenium, and UI. With almost 17 years of relevant experience, Anish is a product enthusiast who is accustomed to working in a team environment with tight schedules and is capable of working efficiently under pressure.
