Anish Singh is an accomplished Software Engineer with a passion for Engineering, Business Development, and Product Design. He is a firm believer in the motto "intensity is the price of excellence" and loves to work hard on endeavors with potential business outcomes. Anish has been working on software projects throughout college, during internships, and after graduation in various domains ranging from back-end development to data analytics. Anish is a people person and enjoys engaging with others, learning about their work and businesses, and taking part in helping their business grow. He is an avid reader of books and is always looking to expand his knowledge and skills. Currently, Anish is working as a Software Engineer at dailyhunt (versé innovation pvt ltd). He is responsible for delivering personalized feed in the app based on user preferences and learning algorithms. He has been awarded the "most innovative idea" prize for building a system with image analysis features at the company hackathon. In the past, Anish worked as an Intern at the Apache Software Foundation, where he was selected for Google Summer of Code out of 20,000 applicants worldwide. He analyzed large datasets using Apache Spark (Scala), Flink, and Apache Lucene and coped with big data problems by hosting datasets on EC2 instances and implementing platform optimizations. He also contributed to Helium, saving users time to rewrite backend code by making it run directly in the web notebook. Anish has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from lnmiit and a Secondary High School degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from The Boys High School. Anish's technical skills include Software Engineering, Product Design, Backend, Spark, Big Data, Scala, and Web.
