Anish Somani is a Software Development Manager at Amazon with 7.94 years of relevant experience. He currently works as an IC in Payment Service where he leads multiple deep dives as away teams and constantly evolves the platform to achieve customer obsession, deep dive, and earn trust. Previously, Anish was part of Amazon Go - Security Team where he designed and implemented authentication & access management through certificate authority, security monitoring & analytics, and a common infrastructure to ensure security controls are in place. He led the Certificate Authority project to completion, enhancing his earn trust, customer obsession, and biased for action. Prior to Amazon, Anish spent 5 years working as a developer at Adobe India where he gained skills in various languages. He worked on multiple challenging projects with the latest development practices like Agile and DevOps. AEM Forms, his team, provided an end-to-end solution that connects the form with the communication processes so that customers can have a seamless journey from acquisition through retention. This helped him master the different integrations and working on a platform. Anish possesses a wide range of software skills, including programming languages such as JAVA, Python, JavaScript, Scala, Flutter, and Dart. He is also proficient in various databases like MySQL, Elastic Search, MongoDB, and Redis. He has experience in testing with Java Unit, Python unit, Teleporter, Jasmine, JMeter, Integration Tests, and WDIO. Anish has worked with frameworks like Django, Express.js, jQuery, and Spring. He has also worked with various APIs and services such as Swagger & Rest services, WSDL & Web services, FB Graph API, and Twitter API. Anish has experience with AWS Services like DynamoDb, Lambda, EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, SNS, SQS, SES, CloudFormation, and CloudTrail. He has also worked with Google Cloud Firestore, Firebase, Cloud Functions, and Google App Engine. Anish holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science and Engg from IIT Dhanbad.
