Anisha Bajaj is a skilled Graduate Research Scientist with a strong background in Machine Learning, Graph Neural Networks, Computer Vision, and NLP. She is also an experienced Software Development professional with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results. Anisha has a diverse work experience with her most recent role being a Program Manager at Leap Finance. Anisha has previously worked at HSBC as a Data Scientist where she was responsible for building loss impairment and provisioning models using SAS to estimate the Expected Credit Losses as per the IFRS9 standards for various HSBC retail banking portfolios like Mortgages, Credit Cards, Personal Loans, Vehicle finance, and Overdraft products. She has used various techniques like Decision tree (CHAID), Regression, IV analysis, and Chain ladder stitching method to develop the IFRS9 models involving the PD, LGD, and ECL calculations. Anisha has also built stress testing models to incorporate the impact of various macroeconomic variables on the current IFRS9 model and also to predict the model behavior in future scenarios. Anisha's passion for social causes is evident from her role as Head and Convenor at Saathi - IIT Bombay, where she organized orientation programs and outreach campaigns for a batch of 1000+ freshmen. She has also directed a short film ‘Mere Saathi’ on LGBTQ acceptance, which garnered 25k+ views and was featured in Mumbai Mirror. Anisha has executed interactive sessions with Actor Kalki Koechlin & director Shonali Bose of the award-winning movie and co-created the “Hesitant Hug” video for awareness against Homophobia with 68k+ views. Anisha holds a Master of Science - MS in Data Science from Indiana University and a Dual Degree (Bachelor + Master) in Energy Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
