Anisha Sharma is a graduate student at Duke University pursuing a Master’s degree in Engineering Management. With a background in Computer Engineering and Management, she is passionate about bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation. Anisha loves building products and experiences that customers and developers love. She has experience as a product consultant, diving deep into customer pain-points and developer experience using user research and analysis. She is fascinated by unlocking data through web services to enable digital transformation that helps build connected experiences for customers. Anisha aspires to contribute to projects focused on building micro-services through reusable and purposeful API products using modern API-led connectivity. Anisha has over 4 years of experience working in the tech industry, where she has designed and developed several REST/SOAP API integrations using MuleSoft data workflows. She has delivered API analytics reports, API performance data, and collaborated with multiple cross-functional teams to curate design documents. She has worked with clients from diverse industries such as Commercial Banks, Products, and Insurance groups from multiple geographic locations - Ireland, United States, and Australia. Apart from work, Anisha is a national-level Table-Tennis player and zonal-level Volleyball player in India. Her top 5 Clifton Strengths are Discipline, Relator, Responsibility, Significance, and Individualization. Currently, she is a Graduate Assistant at the Center for Multicultural Affairs at Duke Student Affairs, where she encourages cross-cultural collaboration, university/community service, multiculturalism, arts, and co-curricular education among students. As a Cultural Engagement Fund Graduate Assistant, she analyzes budget proposals of student organizations and groups to facilitate the funding application process and help promote multiple forms of co-curricular experiences of the diverse student community. Anisha's technical expertise includes product management, integration, research scientist, microservices, web, product design, CI/CD, and Jenkins. She holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from NMIMS and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Engineering Management at Duke University. Anisha intends to leverage her background in middleware integration to deliver data-driven solutions that add significant value to the consumers and help businesses solve real-time problems.
