Anita Cu is a software engineer at LinkedIn with over four years of relevant experience in the field. She is a highly motivated individual with a passion for teaching and guiding others. Currently, Anita is the Lead Facilitator at the Lawrence Hall of Science at UC Berkeley, where she teaches science to kids and families in an engaging way through hands-on engineering design challenges. She is responsible for delegating tasks to teen interns and volunteers to manage the space of the Ingenuity Lab. Anita has previously worked as a CS 61A Course Tutor at UC Berkeley College of Engineering, where she taught small sections of 4-6 students enrolled in the course. She assisted and tutored students in Python with projects, labs, and homework assignments during office hours. She has also worked as a CodeU Fellow at Google, where she collaborated with a team of peers to design and develop a web chat application with servlets, JSP using Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS over the course of 12 weeks. She implemented a user profile page system with features such as allowing users to edit their bio, send/accept pal requests, and directly message pals in Java. Anita designed and developed the front-end user interface using HTML and CSS and employed various Google Cloud Platform APIs, including App Engine and Datastore. Anita holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated in 2019. She also attended Dougherty Valley High School from 2012 to 2016. Anita's tech stack includes software engineering, and she is always eager to learn and expand her knowledge in the field.
