Ankit Aggarwal is a skilled Computer Science Engineer with over 4 years of relevant experience in software development and engineering. He is currently employed at Amazon as a Software Developer, where he is actively working on the implementation of the latest transport layer network protocol: QUIC for Cloudfront in Rust. Ankit is responsible for mitigating and root causing high priority customer issues for Cloudfront. He has also implemented the Header Validation module for HTTP3 to enhance the security of incoming HTTPS traffic. Ankit has created metrics, logs, dashboards, and alarms to monitor efficiency, performance, and customer impact of their QUIC Service. He has also created a tool to reproduce the head of line blocking problem to benchmark performance of different congestion control algorithms for HTTP2 and HTTP3 that helped them choose the right congestion control algorithm for their customers. Additionally, he created an android application to benchmark Cloudfront performance over Android devices. Prior to joining Amazon, Ankit worked at Discovery as a Software Engineer. Here, he was responsible for engineering Identity and Access Management(IAM) solutions for globally dispersed businesses and personnel. He integrated Sailpoint Solution with in-house and third-party applications for birthright provisioning, request approvals and fulfillment, de-provisioning, custom workflows, etc. He also developed custom connectors using RESTful API’s for IdentityNow to integrate with applications for Identity Providers like Box, FM Systems, and Screening Room, etc. Ankit also worked as a Software Intern at Aunalytics, where he added spark support for all actively used operations and expressions used in their in-house dataflow builder. He added new operations and expressions with test cases for Pig Execution Engine to the dataflow Library. He performed Benchmarking for Pig and Spark on several dataflows, the addition of Spark support increased the execution speed by 10 times. Ankit holds a Master of Science - MS in Computer Engineering and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Florida. He also has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Software Engineering from Jaypee University. He has also earned a Senior Certificate in Computer Science from the University of Florida.
