Ankit Bhatia is a Senior ML Architect with over 12.5 years of experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cloud (AWS), Data engineering, ML engineering, NLP & Analytics. He specializes in executing data-driven solutions & product development with a focus on sustainable, scalable and robust frameworks. Ankit has extensive experience in providing minimum viable architecture for ML/DL/NLP products, building Machine learning products and scaling them to production. He has worked and led end-to-end projects on complete AI pipeline starting from Data Engineering > Data Science > ML Engineering, i.e. from Data preparation to model building till deployment. He has a quick formulation and designing of the Data Science problem statement. He defines the optimum architecture for recommendation systems for Batch, near-realtime and session level real-time recommendation inference/serving requirements. In the past, Ankit has worked as a Technical Lead III - Data Science at Anthem where he contributed to architecture design and implementation of a robust framework that can assess Machine learning models for following tasks: Model Fairness, Model Explainability, Data & Model Drift. He has also worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Novartis where he worked on predicting the next best marketing promotions for physicians which would enhance the patient experience & maximize the revenue. He worked on constrained regression, ANN, Bayesian Networks, CNN, Multi-armed bandit, Thompson Sampling and Attention-based sequential models. He also worked on market mixed models using Random Forest/LSTM based approaches to get the contribution of each promotion on the sales. He is currently working on transformer-based architecture (BERT / GPT) for content recommendation.
