Ankit Dave is a highly skilled Product Manager at Google with a passion for building innovative products. He has a strong background in Software Engineering and holds an MS in Computer Science from Stony Brook University. Ankit's areas of interest lie in Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, IoT, and next-generation hardware devices. He is currently working as a PM on Fuchsia - Devices and Experiences team, where he is responsible for leading product development. Ankit has also led PM on all the Caching products at Google in the past. Before joining Google, Ankit worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Qualcomm, where he filed a patent in the field of Virtual and Augmented Reality during his internship as a Lead Inventor. He also created and invented an Interactive Virtual interface, which allows users to interact with the virtual world. Ankit successfully made a dynamic Android settings app that reduces the time to change GPU settings and created an interface to display all the GPU command buffer dumps in real-time. Ankit's research work as a Research Assistant at Stony Brook University is also noteworthy. He worked under Distinguished Professor and Chairman Arie Kaufman and created a framework that provides support for the exploration of a virtual space and interaction with different elements in the space through Oculus Rift and Kinect sensor.
