Ankit Kaushik is a Senior SDE at DP World with over 7 years of experience in developing, maintaining, and monitoring scalable, resilient, and distributed cloud-native systems. He has worked extensively with different frameworks like Spring Boot, Dot Net, and NodeJS. Currently, he is working on the Tracking Service, used by sister teams at DP World to gather information and other milestones of shipments and cargoes, and making the underlying persistent storage robust and secure. Ankit has previously worked as a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Mettl, where he developed and deployed web applications using Redis for application caching, Postgresql/DynamoDB for persistent storage, AWS S3 for file storage, and Redshift as a data warehouse. He also introduced service-discovery architecture using Eureka in their system, which was previously dependent on DNS. Ankit has extensive experience in developing RESTful microservices in distributed environments communicating in both synchronous/asynchronous ways, catering to over 5k requests per minute.
