Ankit Mehta is a highly accomplished leader with over 14 years of experience in the finance and banking industry. Currently, he holds the position of Director and Head of Group Treasury at Deutsche Bank's Finance Centers. He is responsible for managing the global treasury functions and representing the Group Treasury at an executive committee level. Mr. Mehta has a proven track record in optimizing a substantial pool of financial resources to maximize yields, lower the cost and balance sheet for the investment bank. He has hands-on experience in dealing with collaterals, funding, balance sheet, RWA, bond repo, bond lending, foreign exchange, money market, equities, pricing, clearing & settlements, platforms, analytics, and operations. Throughout his career, Mr. Mehta has held several other roles at Deutsche Bank, including Head of Equities and Exco Member at Deutsche Bank Center, and Vice President Business Head Equity Derivatives. In these roles, he managed large teams working for sales, trading, structuring, and control functions. He also established several functions, hired, trained, and mentored talent, and managed restructuring. Additionally, he drove the campus hiring program with premium institutions like IIT, IIM, DU, and ICAI. Mr. Mehta is an enterprising leader who focuses on building diverse teams, driving productivity, promoting the culture of innovation and performance, managing platform level risks, and ensuring overall superior delivery. He holds a Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, has cleared all three levels of Chartered Financial Analyst from CFA Institute (US), and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai.
