Ankit Sharma is a skilled and certified Agile Test Automation Engineer with over 7.5 years of total IT work experience. He has worked in multiple industry domains such as Payments, Banking, IoT, Escrow, Insurance, Energy & Utilities, Solutions, and general applications. In his career, Ankit has worked as an Analyst, Tester, and Developer, showcasing his diverse skill set. Currently, Ankit is working as a Sr. SDET in the Payment Gateway Team for Omnichannel Payments at Verifone R&D, Bangalore. He is a core member of the Center of Excellence Automation team and is responsible for implementing the Common Automation Test Framework and Continuous Testing pipeline from scratch for the Global Engineering team. Ankit is also involved in the implementation, development, and E2E testing of Verifone's Omnichannel Payments Gateway solution with Dimebox. He has dockerized the project and added it to the CICD pipeline via Jenkins. Prior to Verifone, Ankit has worked at Allegis as a Senior Software Engineer, where he built a home automation suite using Google Assistant, tested web and android applications manually and using automation frameworks, conducted Gap Analysis, created Test Cases, and prepared Reports. He has also worked at CGI as a Software Engineer, where he was involved in the development and testing of software tools and products catering to the BFSI industry in Europe and America. He has also worked onsite in Edinburgh, UK, for a major release. Ankit has completed his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Don Bosco Institute of Technology. He has also completed a Resource-aware Machine Learning - International Summer School 2020 from TU Dortmund University, where he studied Data Analysis (Machine Learning, Data Mining, Statistics) & Embedded Systems (Cyber-Physical Systems).
