Ankit's technical skills include programming languages such as Python, Java, C, XML, and SNMP. He is well-versed in development and deployment tools like Django, Spring, Git, AWS, and Docker. He has also worked with technologies like Linux, NoSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, and RESTful APIs. Currently, Ankit is a Member of Technical Staff 3 at VMware, where he is responsible for developing data pipelines and Python packages for running feature extraction algorithms on coral reef data. He applies CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) to the images to predict the presence of coral reefs, which can be used by organizations to protect and preserve the coral reefs of the desired region. He uses Python, Docker, Linux, CircleCI, and GCP for this project. In the past, Ankit has worked with Phoenix Water Solutions as an SDE Intern, where he designed and developed a web app to automate the utility bill generating system. He has also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Arizona State University, where he developed data pipelines and Python packages for running feature extraction algorithms on coral reef data. Ankit is a travel enthusiast and a basketball fan. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from VIT in 2016.
