Ankit has a strong interest in problem-solving and learning different techniques to solve problems. He is always eager to learn new concepts from open-source courses and is passionate about data structures and algorithms, object-oriented design patterns, and improving existing code. Ankit has an impressive track record of working with some of the leading companies in India. As an SDE || at ninjacart, Ankit led a small team of 15 engineers and broke the monolith architecture to build microservices. He built reseller services that enabled B2C fruits and vegetable supply chain with Swiggy, Zomato, and Flipkart. He also built a farm finance solution for farmers that enabled them to produce and sell crops on the ninjacart platform. Ankit built an ecosystem for grocery supply chain involving Catalogue, inventory, and order management, a visit plan service for sales executives, and a read-intensive service that enabled businesses to create custom dashboards. He improved the existing infrastructure for current and future scale and added real-time price drop/surge based on supply and demand to serve the perishable SKU. Before joining ninjacart, Ankit worked as a software engineer at Globant, where he built an editor for a custom language known as Ezscript in ETL tool and added autocomplete assistance and suggestions when users code. Ankit holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Charusat University and a Diploma in Computer Science from Atmiya Institute of Technology. He has expertise in software engineering, microservices, Java, Javascript, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Spring Boot, Spring, infra, ETL, search, and web.
