Ankita Narvekar is a highly skilled software engineer with a strong interest in Distributed Systems. Currently, she is working as a Software Engineer in Platform Infra at Bolt, where she is responsible for working on the Platform Infrastructure team. Ankita has a total of 3.52 years of relevant experience in the field of software engineering. Prior to her current role, Ankita worked as a Software Engineer at Twilio, where she worked on the Data Platform team, specifically the Kafka team. She helped handle and scale the Kafka infrastructure to support increasing real-time traffic at Twilio. Ankita also worked on software engineering projects to provide seamless onboarding on to the Kafka cluster. Before joining Twilio, Ankita worked as a Member Of Technical Staff Intern at VMware. During her time at VMware, she worked on a project aimed at improving the security of Android applications. Ankita researched and explored root detection on Android to better understand security threats and built a module for giving customers the status of device health based on results of multiple device integrity checks. She also designed a two-tier future compatible single security management API ‘SecurityManager’ on SDK and collaborated with two other teams to develop and implement a proof of concept for the proposed framework. Ankita holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from New York University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavans. Her technical skills include Software Engineering, Infra, P2P, Kafka, Backend, Android, Test, and Java.
