Ankita Saloni is a 22-year-old tech enthusiast, community builder, and author with a passion for learning and exploring new domains. She is a finalist in the Smart India Hackathon, former GDSC Lead, and Generation Google APAC Scholar'21. She is also a Geek Goddess AmEx Hack Winner'20 and former ML Intern at Omdena. Currently, Ankita is a Mentor at GirlScript, where she guides and helps participants to contribute to open-source projects, build their skills, and enhance their knowledge. She manages and reviews their code and algorithms, documentation, debugging, and enhancement of features in those projects. In the past, Ankita has worked as a Mentee at Wootech, where she contributed to the backend development, DevOps, and documentation of the 'All Notes' project powered by MERN stack. She has also worked as a Junior ML Engineer at Omdena, where she collaborated with a team of 45 professionals across 15 countries on the 'Kenya Land Ownership Project' in collaboration with World Resources Institute (WRI), Stanford University, and Code for Africa. Ankita has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, a Bachelor of Arts in English Hons. (Language and Literature) from Delhi University, and a High School degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Rao Man Singh Senior Secondary Public School. Ankita's tech stack includes ML, Backend, DevOps, Software Engineering, AI, and NLP. With 2.03 years of relevant experience, she is an avid learner and always willing to try her hands on something new.
