• Designed, implemented and scaled a centralized platform to provide a new developer experience and enable the internal platform teams to onboard their frontend on a one common platform.

• This platform significantly improved developer experience and productivity by providing centralized user authentication/authorization, role-based regulation to their backend APIs, SDKs for constructing CLI/Web experiences, and more.

• Took complete ownership of the platform’s backend such as its Gateway, a GraphQL based data service fronting MySQL DB, etc.

• Implemented last-mile security that guaranteed backend services that requests truly originated from the Gateway, not an intruder.

• Technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Go, Apache Kafka, GraphQL, OAuth 2.0, JSON Web Token (JWT), MySQL, Docker, etc.

Release Readiness Validation Service (June 2018 – April 2019)

• Developed a centralized service for PayPal’s app lifecycle management system to ensure apps meet established quality criteria.

• This resulted in significant reduction of P0 and P1 bugs, with a decline of 18% and 33% respectively across all PayPal apps in 2020.

• Technologies: Go, gRPC, Google Cloud Datastore, Docker, etc.

University offering multiple courses and degrees across diversified streams

• Infra Ops products at PayPal did not have a standardized build and deployment process. The goal of the project was to develop a common standardized CI/CD platform for all the Infra Ops products in order to reduce computing resources on the cloud, the number of people working on CI/CD in their respective teams, etc.

• Developed CI-CD process for one of the use cases; automated everything right from code check-in to the repository till the deployment on staging environment using Jenkins Blue Ocean and Spinnaker

• Received the best intern award out of 200 interns.
