Ankur Verma is an experienced Software Engineer with a strong track record of delivering highly performant, scalable, and durable services. He has led the design, development, delivery, and operational management of services capable of serving millions of TPS. Currently, Ankur works at DoorDash as a Software Engineer, where he is responsible for Consumer Engagement/Twitch. Alongside his industry experience, Ankur has also spent a significant amount of time improving his understanding of IoT, Containerization/Virtualization, Sensor interfacing, MQTT/Queue management, Frontend UI development, SQL/Postgres Data Modeling through his homelab project. His ability to learn quickly and lead/manage any kind of tech stack without any hand-holding sets him apart. Ankur's past experience includes working as an SDE at Amazon, where he designed and developed an Elastic Map Reduce application for ad-hoc job creation. He also developed an application for creating monitoring alarms on services and coded a browse tree to be loaded into cache and shared across hosts. Ankur's education background includes an MS in Computer Science from Northeastern University and a B.E in Electrical Engineering from KIIT University.
