Ankush Goyal is a tech entrepreneur and the Founder of MeOwl Technologies, a startup that uses AI and IoT technologies to solve poaching and man-animal conflict problems. He has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Ankush has 3.35 years of relevant experience and is passionate about technology. Ankush's interest in electronics and gadgets started at a young age, and he built his first remote-controlled boat using the components of a remote-controlled car at the age of 12. During college, he built his own version of a home assistant that would greet him and play a song whenever he entered the room. After completing his studies, Ankush worked at Edumorf, where he headed the App Development team and successfully built its Android app. He then did an internship at Yrals Digital, where he helped them build features that solved some key problems of the product. In 2018, Ankush joined GreyOrange Robotics, where he used AI techniques to improve the efficiency of Warehouse Robots. He developed techniques to automate work related to rack design and tried out different algorithms, designing new ones as well. In 2019, Ankush went on a solo trip to a national park and talked with forest officers, rangers, guides, etc. He found out that securing that area has been a challenge because CCTVs can't be used over there, as there is no electricity/wifi. This led him to use all his knowledge of AI & IoT to solve this problem. After almost 2 years of development in stealth mode, Ankush and his team have come up with a security device that detects wild animals through AI and triggers audio and visual alarms to scare them away. Using their patent-pending technology, it also sends the animal's picture to the security guard even if there's no internet/wifi access in that area. Their devices are working in Rubber & Tea Plantations and have prevented many wild animals from intruding in the estate. They are also building a device that will help in catching poachers before they get to kill. Ankush's tech stack includes AI, Android, and Software Engineering.
