Anmol Garg is an accomplished Engineering Manager with over 5 years of experience in the field of Machine Learning Engineering. He has a Master's degree in Data Science from IIIT Bangalore and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the College of Engineering Roorkee. Currently, Anmol is working at Expedia Group as a Manager of Machine Learning Engineering, where he is responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models and leading a team of engineers. Anmol is a highly motivated individual who consistently sets and achieves ambitious goals for himself. He is proficient in programming languages such as Java, J2EE, Python, C, Scala, Ruby, and R, and has expertise in big data analytics and visualization tools such as Apache Spark, Splunk, Hadoop, Elastic Search, Tableau, Airflow, and Databricks. He is also well-versed in machine learning techniques, including feature engineering, model training, tuning, evaluation, and productionalization, and has experience with Scikit-Learn and Spark ML. In addition to his technical skills, Anmol has experience working with microservices and API development using REST. He has worked with various database technologies, including RDBMS, MySQL, HiveDB, MongoDB, Postgres, and exist-DB(XML, XSLT), and has a strong understanding of design principles such as OOPs and design patterns. He is proficient in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EMR, EC2, State Machines, Lambda, Cloudwatch, and S3. Anmol's previous experience includes working as a Machine Learning Engineer II at Expedia and a Software Engineer II at Cisco. At Cisco, he worked with the Customer Experience Product Development Org, where he developed data pipelines and machine learning models to predict device crash probability in the customer network. He also mentored juniors and sub-led the ML team. Anmol has a passion for mentoring and helping others to grow in their careers. Anmol's education history includes a Master of Technology (MTech) in Data Sciences from IIIT Bangalore and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Engineering from the College of Engineering Roorkee.
