Anmol Garg is a passionate software development engineer at Freecharge with a strong background in Java, SpringBoot, MySql, Redis, AWS, DynamoDB, Python, Git, and TDD. He is a problem solver who loves to code and believes in the power of programming to transform and improve the lives of people around the world. Anmol's professional career started through an internship, where he was given the opportunity to work on actual projects and gain real-time challenges that he might not have been able to think of while learning. Fortunately, he was offered a permanent role based on his performance during his internship. Currently, Anmol is working on the back end of Freecharge's financial services, such as Freecharge PayLater, which is already live and can be opted for through the Freecharge app. He mostly worked in the financial domain till now, also known as fintech. Anmol's foremost goal is to design an application or software to be scalable, which can be achieved by following "The Clean Code" principles. He also keeps in mind to write maintainable code as much as possible and refactor it time to time if required. Unit tests are very helpful for keeping his code bugs free. Even when Anmol leaves the office, he tends to continue writing code at home. Most recently, he has decided to start writing blogs so that he can share what he is learning and working on. Anmol has 2.77 years of relevant experience and has worked as an SDE at Freecharge and completed a summer internship at Ashok Leyland, where he completed the project on Productionisation of 9s Gearbox and gained an understanding of the various machining done on Engine Block and Engine Head. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore. Anmol's tech stack includes Software Engineering, AWS, Redis, MySQL, Spring Boot, Backend, Python, and Java. He is a driven individual who is always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow in his field.
